Tea Tree Bay

So, here we are on a walk along the coastline of Noosa National Park. Noosa is a small town, very popular with locals and tourists, about 140kms north of Brisbane. This chunk of dramatic rocky coast jutts into the ocean, dotted with sheltered beaches and coves, and a backdrop of tranquil rainforest, open forest, scrubland and grasslands. If you think the picture has been 'doctored', forget it! The ocean really was this clear and blue.

Ah, I was there a couple of weeks ago walking in the Noosa National Park (where this photo was taken). My German visitor was VERY happy to see a koala in the wild, about 30 metres to the right of where this picture was taken. Very nice photo, Al.

Inner Artist:I always think this is such a perfect place to take visitors. Pleased they got to see a koala in the wild...I've seen a few, which is always exciting.

Thanks Dianne...I love the intensity of the blues.

A nature reserve on the coast - very similar to Gibraltar Point (just south of Skegness UK). Visitors might notice a few differences between the two :-)
