A Cat On A Hot......!

Well, it's not exactly a "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof", but it certainly would get very hot sitting on the edge of 'The Mansions' in the blazing Queensland sun. I wonder if any of you noticed the cat seated at either end of the building in yesterday's photo. There seems to be no information regarding the significance of these feline friends, but here they sit, one paw resting on a ball of wool, surveying their corner of the city.

It might be something to do with the fable of the invention of the wheel: a lion was seen rolling a stone. Incidentally it's also the inspiration for the Holden logo.

Perth Daily: Pleased you noticed them Grace.

Lincoln Eye: There might be something in that, but it still doesn't link in with the buildings. Just imagine having a Holden in 1889!
