Camouflage

Almost unseen, the ubiquitous rainbow lorikeet  blends perfectly into the trees and flowers. As this week starts out with cool winds and wet weather it's a cheering sight to see them.

Beautiful! And what a feast for him. What tree is that? The blossoms are beautiful. It looks like it could be a Mexican fern tree but I didn't know they had blossoms like that.

They seem to be masters of camouflage ... It's usually not until I hear the fluttering in the bushes that I notice their pretty finery. That's a beautiful vibrant piece e of shrubbery.

Now this is a sight that would warm the cockles of your heart on a wintery day Al, they're so bright and beautiful these little lorikeets, i love it when they fly into my garden to feed,

Stunning tree Al, looks like a member of the MImosa family perhaps which I have seen with fluffy filament type flowers but not with bunches of fruit. Wow.
I didn't notice the bird until after I double clicked the picture and I thought my eyes were pretty sharp. Nicely done.

Lots of color here. We don't have birds like this in my neck of the woods.
