The Queen is in town!

If you followed the eyes of everyone yesterday, this is what you would have seen. RMS Queen Mary 2 sailed into Brisbane on one of her stops as she circumnavigates Australia. Hundreds and hundreds of people came out to see this magnificent liner, the largest ship to visit the city. This small girl wasn't caught up in the hype and was more intent on playing along the shore.

It's a beautiful ship .... Unfortunately I missed her in Adelaide.

She's a beauty alright! I missed her too when she was in Perth but I believe she is returning to Fremantle on the 28th, guess who'll be waiting poised and ready haha! Love the added interest of the little girl in the foreground Al. Nice capture.

It is a magnificent ship. I have seen her twice now in Sydney Harbour. It is amazing how little space is left when she is plonk in the middle of the harbour.

If I'm correct, you will be able to see QM2 in Fremantle, Adelaide and lastly in Sydney as she tours around Australia. I think that Julie really has the best setting with Sydney Harbour.

V. I just loved the way that the 'little princess' couldn't give a care for this magnificent ship.

Steffe. Try another time :-)

Thanks Cara...I actually made two trips out there that day; once in the morning and another to see her sail at night. Pleased I made the effort.
