As the day came to a close yesterday, I captured this shot of the sun setting behind the gum tree, leaving us with the promise of another scorcher today. However, the gusty warm winds bring the danger of bush fires ever closer. It has been over 7 weeks since we had any rain and today we should see 29c. Have a great Friday and keep cool.
Winter here in Brisbane is such a hardship. With a seven-day run ahead of blue skies and sunshine, and expected temps of about 20c, it's time for me to take a short break. It's Friday and the weekend is just around the corner. Hope you all have a good one.
It's a cold, wild and wet Sunday.... perfect to stay home and curl up with a book or a good movie. The idea is great, but I have to work. This was taken a while ago along the coast when it was an equally wild day.
Looking around the sky the other day, all of the clouds were wispy other than this one rogue cloud that dared to be different. I wonder where this one came from...and where it was going?
I'm taking a few days off for Easter and will be back next week. Happy Easter to you all.
