Turn Up The Heat!

As the day came to a close yesterday, I captured this shot of the sun setting behind the gum tree, leaving us with the promise of another scorcher today. However, the gusty warm winds bring the danger of bush fires ever closer. It has been over 7 weeks since we had any rain and today we should see 29c. Have a great Friday and keep cool.

Al, I"ve missed you! Forgive my absence and thank you for stopping in for a sip of Paris from time to time. I think this photo today is jaw dropping. I love the silhouettes of the trees. Bravo my friend.

I just looked out my front windows to see a rather large bush fire making its way up Mount Baldy. it will be hard for the firefighters to get in there, I think.

Wow AL, this is great! We don't have such sunsets here.

Such a stunning image Al, it almost looks like a bush fire lighting the sky..it's such a worry with the lack of rain and the high temperatures, it's the same over here, such a worry especially when you think there are people out there getting ready to deliberately do such damage!

Sorry to hear about the lack of rain. No shortage of that where I live! Great sunset snap it is.
