Venus (2)

Slender and sleek, dressed in her mantle of silver filigree, 'Venus Rising' elegantly spirals into the early morning sky, reaching for her home in the heavens far above.

The lines and detail of this structure are amazing. The stainless steel is a great medium for an art installation.

I think so too, Ann. A lot of modern art doesn't do too much to inspire me but I really like this piece.

Very very nice - the intricate patterns of the surface add another dimension too as they appear against the sky. It looks like you can walk right inside the structure, is that correct?

Looks very good and intriguing, great photo, AL.

Thanks Nathalie. Yes, you can walk into the base and look up through the spiral to the sky through a small aperture. I will post a photo in the future.
