My perception of the lake in the city botanical garden is that it is reasonably deep...that is until I saw this workman cleaning out some of the weeds and rubbish that has accumulated. Even with protective waders, it would feel jolly cold standing in that water. If you enlarge the image you might just see the water dragon sitting on the side watching him.

You know what! In my next life, I want to come back as that man. Bliss, puddling around in water and mud some days. (I'd wear thermal underwear, perhaps.)
LOL. I think it'd get a tad cold spending your life messing around in the water and mud!(even with thermals).
What fun despite the chill! Now, about that water dragon? He looks a bit scary to me!
