Having had yet more rain I noticed that there seems to be a lot more spider webs about. Thankfully they have decided to stay outside and not to seek shelter inside the house.
Al, This is a great shot. Good eye! BTW, I have to tell you that while in Paris last week, a shop owner asked me if I was from Australia. Remember I 'm from ALABAMA. I hooted! I was flattered of course. V
Happy Australia Day for yesterday Al. I'm with you on the spider thing, if they stay outside they live, if I find them inside they're history, it's a territorial thing haha! Al I vary between my Pentax KD, using a 28 - 200 mm lens or just recently I bought a Lumix Panasonic FZ 100 which has a 24 X zoom and so many different options, and the great thing is it's so light, I throw it in my bag and it goes everywhere with me, whereas the Pentax is so much heavier! Last night it was the Lumix on a tripod.
Thanks V. I was really happy with the way I caught to light on the web. Having never heard you speak I don't know how much of an Alabama accent you have...but there's nothing wrong with being thought of as an Aussie! (Even if the accents are so VERY different)! I still sound very English.
Thanks for the info'. Like a lot of people I alternate between 2 cameras depending on where I am and what I am doing. I have my Nikon D5000 with a 18 - 270mm lens and then a Nikon Coolpix that I can slip into my pocket.

Inside spiders do not survive with me!
