Sun Shade

The Gold Coast at Surfers Paradise is mostly high-rise with massive apartment blocks and hotels. It seems that they are constantly building, and with land at a premium, the only way to go is up. Once the sun starts to drop in the sky, huge shadows are formed over the beach...natural sun shade form those harsh rays! The tall building you can see is called Q1. Come back tomorrow to see more.

This is what everyone protested about here in Perth when Observation City first went up, in one way you can see the appeal, for tourists mainly, so close to the beach, it just seems such a shame to spoil the coastline with highrise! Is it still beach weather over in Brisbane Al? Hope you're enjoying your Sunday.

It's pretty bad town planning. I guess it's good in summer but frankly if you want shade then you shouldn't be at the beach. Or take an umbrella/sun tent! Hope you had a great break regardless!
