I'm suspecting that this small group of bluish beetles are either juveniles or male/females of the beetle I showed you yesterday. They were on the same tree, and seemed to be 'hiding' in the bend of the branch. The colours are just so beautiful, aren't they?

Pretty beetles - could they be 'stink beetles' so named because when you disturb them they release a horrible odour? Either way, a great find while you were out.

Gorgeous colours, they look quite big, you wouldn't want one of these blighters landing in your packed lunch as you relaxed under that tree.
